great day for running

Only the second time I have gone jogging since my car accident. Great timing. Saw three jaw-droppingly hot women. One looked like a fitness model from SELF magazine wearing those tight little boy-shorts. She was tall and lean and perfect, except she was with her husband :(

One of the other two hotties was also accompanied by her man. In addition to the three head-turners, there were a handful of other attractive women. Today was a great day to be running. Too bad none of these babes was likely to be turning her head to check me out after we passed one another.

day 1 of training

I did see a hottie at lunch. Beautiful, tall waitress at BWW. Played 3 rounds of Appeteasers. I was the only one playing which isn't very exciting, but I did get the two highest scores of the month for that location.

some pontificating

What is the big deal with firing a few US Attorneys? The administration should be straightforward about this trivial issue.

"Hell yes we fired them, we had every right to do so, we don't have to give you or anyone else a reason, didn't like the job they we doing, get over it"

That's what I would like to hear. I like when people are unrepentant.

let the mundaneness begin

So what did I do this weekend? Saturday I went to work for a few hours to wrap up what I hadn't finished Friday afternoon, then I mowed the lawn. Sunday I installed two ceiling fans. Grilled out both nights for dinner.

At least this week will not be the standard 5 days of cubeville. The first two days will be a training class, downtown instead of at my normal office. With any luck I will see a hottie or two while out for lunch.

why this?

A friend suggested (repeatedly) that I should blog. Not sure what will become of this. Probably just a mundane accounting of my life. Maybe some sordid tales from my past will arise to provide interesting material. Maybe I will pontificate about current events/politics. Maybe I will provide links to interesting things.
